I take the whole assembly out, disassemble clean assemble and drop it back in makes life much easier.
Did you solve the problem ?
Thank you lol. I was missing the nub on top that is a button
do you put DE powder after cleaning it?
Thanks.
Thank you for your video. It literally saved me so much time and money and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Greg your dad is my Grandpa brother Kole from Bitola , I watch your video James Family 8mm , I am Vera son , you guys made me cry from that video so so much . I saw my grandparents :(( , their house , I played on that street in front of the yellow house , I saw my borother as baby that baby on the video is my brother Viktor 🙂 , I am born 6 month after that video is made ,thank you , thank you so much…My parents were guest at your house in late 80ties , you as they told me were 16,17 .. If you ever visit Prague , please let me know !
Very helpful since nobody here can find the book. Also, trust me when your adorable little girl comes in, nobody watching you! Had to go replay.
Add a drop of cooking oil on each of the little nobs on the new flapper seal. That will make it much easier to pop the new parts back on.
These vehicles have mecanical water pump that goes through the engine. So when they becomes weak, they do Not run faster as the engine is running with them, which caused the car to overheat. But once you replace the water pump you're set for couple yearsss
Easy fix!!! Just replace the water pump or with the thermostat if you want that set. You will forget about overheating for yearssss
Thank you for being thorough with reassembling the grids. I would not be able to put them back without looking at your video part 2. I have watched multiple videos but yours was the best.
The filter behind “Rotator” cap needs to be dusted. It fills up w/dirt
0:51 it's just like shakin yer willy
Does this apply to the older one? Mine still works it smells like dog tho. Wait this video is older than mine mines a 2017 model. It might work tho I’ll test it out tho
THANK YOU , i was stumped by my vaccume cleaner
Thank you..Great...short/sweet & all the necessary info in short time...excellent video...!!
How do I fix the handle that came off?
If you're going to show a cleaning, include the roller, and don't use scissors to remove crap until you actually remove the roller assembly from the unit. Much easier to clean, as well as lets you inspect the belt which is something that should be routinely changed out. Some manufacturers recommend a minimum of twice annually. Don't wait for it to fail.
I did not see the process unfortunately, poor camera angle.
So far so good with this vacuum. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
Great video thanks so much for posting. I’ve been cleaning my Del 60 for 20 years so thank you for sharing. One quick suggestion: towards the end of the video I believe you should put the breather tube at the top back into its slot on the top black pipe before you cover the filter back up.
How do you clean that screen filter inside the tank? Part of it never even gets wet and it does not come out
Turn it upside down and use a wet soapy bottle brush, rinse and let dry overnight.
@@ForGoodnesSake I've tried that, you can't reach it, with a brush
Great video-very helpful!! What about the filter on the front side? Does that get cleaned or replaced?
Greg: Thanks for a very detailed video on the DEV-60 filter cleaning. My contractor never showed me how to clean the filter. After 1.5 years of use, I finally had to open that bear and tackle the job. As expected, it was DIRTY ! As noted by others, there are few videos on this device, primarily I think because fewer home owners use the this top-of-the-line filter for larger pools. I personally had difficulty re-inserting the cleaned filters onto the grid. Of course, I've done it once, so 2nd time will be easier. Next cleaning, I think I will assemble the filters onto the grid, outside the bottom assembly, and then place them as a set, inside the bottom assembly. I would add the following tip: Have a spare o-ring on hand for the interior PVC pipe, over which the manifold fits. The o-ring broke when I removed the manifold. I could not get Jandy support on the phone, but taking measurements, I found the Danco O-Ring #73 works well (Ace hardware). I also used silicone grease on the o-ring and inside the manifold pipe connection. Those who have a multi-port valve, it should be placed in the CLOSED position while cleaning the filter. Also, the DEV-60 Installation and Operation Manual can be downloaded from the Jandy site. www.jandy.com/en/products/pool-filters/dev It is document : h0295200.pdf
Thanks! I have a different model Rotator but the parts are almost the same. I have 3 filters too. I was ready to buy a new vacuum, but I wanted to try this first. I believe I found the clog in the tube on the bottom next to the bristles. so... thanks for helping me save $400! 😊
So simple but until I saw this video it defied my attempts to clean it. Thanks!
wait...I didn't know you could rinse the canister out. I thought there was something in there that can't be exposed to water?
Thank you for your very helpful video. Wishing you all the best!
thanks for the video. The one I was given looks like it has been through an apocalypse
Need to know the brush how to open
Waste to much water, it’s not renovable, water is life
Thank you! Millennial here and I think you helped me get my vacuum back up and running properly. The suction was terrible and it was making a weird sound like when it gets blocked. So once we get all dry, I’ll get my chores done 😂. Also, I know the filters are cleanable but do we need to replace them at a point instead of cleaning
Thanks buddy!!! Easy peasy
Thank you!
i am trying to get the book to see info on this machine manual so i van buy the filters also
i was given a used one like this one but the per son removed the tag ( what is the name of the vacuum the model # i need to replace a few things
Im trying to take the roller out and clean it, not take a scissors out and slice my hand. Video sucks
I was today years old when I found out you had to wash the filter 💀
I wish I would have seen this months ago when I was searching, there are not enough videos, tutorials, on the Jandy DEL 60. Much appreciated!
Wow! You're amazing! So clear and generous! Thank you!
My instructions call for using the rest of the Mylar to a spot on the tailgate, about half the strip to each spot. And mine didn't come with any threadlock, and didn't mention using it, but I used some anyway. Works great for my arthritic joints. Two thumbs up!
Is there any way to clean out the base not the actual where the bristles are but the top part that’s like next to the brush roll indicator? It seems like I have a bunch of stuff in there that I can’t get out I don’t know how to get to it
Helloo i just buy one of these and de bottom roller don't move when i turn it on like others vacuum it just move when i use it...i don't know if you understand me
Well done video.... got me thru my first cleaning today. Thank you !
That hair-cleaning looked like a nightmare. Shark should have a better design, for better access.
Gosh. So much hair.
You don’t say what model yours is. I recently trash picked a Shark Rotator “Professional“ model NV502 31 (Red and white). You also did not give instructions on how to remove the floor head bottom plate. I can tell you that it is 11 (ELEVEN) screws, including three hidden ones, one each under the two roller wheels (and their pins)up at the front of the floor head, and one that requires opening up the footer hose access door first to get to. There’s another RUclips video with the exact model I have that does give those instructions.
